Ruaha Hilltop Lodge

 Ruaha Hilltop Lodge is built on a hill with a panoramic view. The luxury self contained cottages are very comfortable and private, each with its own balcony and beautiful view. The water in the bathroom is heated by solar power making the facilities eco friendly.

Our receiption, restaurant and bar are all under one roof, with a gallery to enjoy the spectacular African Sunrise and sunset. Giraffes, elephants, baboons and Kudus can sometimes be glimpsed not far away. Our experienced chefs provide both Continental and African Cuisine using fresh produce from the local area. Our bar is well stocked with hard and soft drinks and we also bake our own bread.

Ruaha Hilltop Lodge is a centre for many activities to choose from. Be it a visit to the nearby local tribes to get acquainted with their cultural or a game viewing trip to the Ruaha national park, a walking safari that gives you an adneralin rush everytime you hear a sound nearby or mountain hiking to the Idemerie volcanic caves, we can arrange an excursion as per your requirement. Not only that, should you want to have a visit to the nearby Iringa Town or the beautiful Mufindi Highlands, we can organise them for you.

Ruaha National Park, which is a highlight to visit our lodge, is Tanzania's second largest national park, derived its name from the Ruaha River, which flows through the park making attractive Gorges. The river is home to hippos, water buffalos, crocodiles, water buck and reed buck.
